| Peterson Slater & Osborne has built a solid reputation within the desert and surrounding communities over the past 50 years.
The founders of the firm started providing accounting services to the Coachella Valley in the early 1950s. In the early 1960s, they became Coachella Valley Tax Service. In 1978, the firm evolved yet again and became Peterson Slater & Butvidas. In 1995, Lee M. Osborne joined the company as tax manager. In 1998, he became president and owner of the accountancy corporation known today as Peterson Slater & Osborne. Since then, Pedro T. Rincón became partner in the firm. In recent years, they have acquired various CPA practices. The firm’s success is based on integrity, professionalism, and community service.

CV Tax & Accounting, known today as PSO, celebrated the opening of their office at the “new” De Anza Building in Indio on May 6, 1966.
In Memory of John T. Slater, Jr.
The employees and the families of Peterson, Slater & Osborne Accountancy Corporation are saddened by the passing of their friend and associate, John T. Slater, Jr., on Saturday, July 25, 2009 after a lengthy illness. John moved to Indio following his service in World War II and started his income tax practice shortly thereafter. He continued to promote the growth of the firm by his friendly service to the residents of the valley who are now serviced by Peterson, Slater & Osborne in La Quinta. He will be missed by all. |
