Peterson Slater & Osborne (PSO) is pleased to announce the promotion of accountant Ashley Reyes to the position of Controller. Reyes joined PSO in March, 2007.
In her new position, Reyes oversees the accounting procedures of the firm, including: accounts payable and receivable, company financials, payroll and human resources.
Reyes, who has over ten years’ accounting experience, was previously a staff auditor for El Paseo Bank in Palm Desert. Her responsibilities included, among other areas, human resources and payroll administration.
“Ashley’s capabilities in human resources and accounting became evident soon after joining us, which made her a natural choice for this position,” said Adam Ochoa, CPA, a partner in PSO.
Peterson Slater & Osborne has also added two experienced bookkeepers to its employee roster to keep up with the remarkable growth of its clients.

Sonya Melendez also has several years of experience, most recently as the controller of a hotel management firm. Her expertise in the hospitality industry is valuable to the various clients in related fields.
“In order to provide our clients with the best service, it is extremely important that we continue to add high-quality staff to our team,” says Lee Osborne, CPA, also a partner in PSO.
