A Call to Civic Duty
In addition to his role at PSO, Lee is actively dedicated to the advancement of the City of La Quinta. This involvement resulted in an appointment to the La Quinta City Council in December, 2002. Two years later, the voters elected him to a new four-year term on the Council. During his tenure, the City of La Quinta’s General Fund revenue has doubled as a result of unprecedented growth and fiscal responsibility.
Lee recently began his third term as Chairman of the City’s Redevelopment Agency, the fifth largest RDA in California. He also serves on committees for the City and the Coachella Valley Association of Governments, as well as on the Board of the Jacqueline Cochrane Regional Airport Authority.
“My goal is to help the City of La Quinta become the best city possible,” says Lee. “It is truly an honor to serve the community in which I have lived, worked and raised my family.”
